When Should You Book a Newborn Photographer? | Mansfield TX Newborn Photographer

The short answer?

Ideally, during your second trimester or early third trimester.

At Mandi Rowe Photography, LLC, many families in Mansfield and throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area reserve their newborn session before baby arrives to ensure availability on my calendar.

Why so early?

Because newborn sessions are best photographed within the first 5–20 days after birth, when babies are sleepier, curl naturally into those womb-like poses, and are typically most comfortable for softly styled portraits.

Booking early also gives us time to plan:

• Colors and styling

• Props and wraps

• Family or sibling portraits

• Session expectations and preparation
